Dr. Rajendar Sheelamanthula has extensive experience in Organic chemistry, polymer chemistry, and analytical chemistry. Dr. Sheelamanthula received his Master’s degree from Kakatiya University, Warangal, and Ph.D. in Organic chemistry from the Indian Institute of Chemical Technology (IICT), Hyderabad, India.

Dr. Sheelamanthula did Postdoctoral research in the areas of synthesis of novel organic/polymeric semiconducting materials at KAUST (King Abdullah University of Science and Technology)

During his career, he has executed numerous projects in designing and synthesis of porphyrins, Indaceno thiophene (IDT), and small semiconducting molecules and glycosylated thiophene and naphthalene diimide polymers for application in Dye-Sensitized Solar Cells (DSSCs), non-fullerene acceptors (NFAs), and organic electronics (OLEDs, OPVs, and OFETs).

Dr. Sheelamanthula also has extensive knowledge and broad experience in the total synthesis of natural products/small molecules for medicinal chemistry applications.
